Many may wonder why Being Still is the title of my blog page. Many, many years ago I was frustrated @ wondering what God's plan was for me. As I was crying out to God, He said,"Be Still and know that I am God."
If anybody has ever had God speak to them, don't you always wonder why He can't just answer your questions with real answers. Even then I wondered Yeah, but what am I supposed to do with that!
I have been on a trek of finding out what it means to Be Still.
The other day I had lunch with a friend @ she gave me a present. It was a journal that was titled Be Still and know that I am God. I just shook my head @ told her that this was the title of my blog page. She was saying that when she was picking this out there was two journals, @ she really felt drawn to this one. Later when she happened to look up my site, she saw Being Still as my title. I sat there in awe wondering why God would care about such a little thing as that.
Then I realized that's what this time away is all about. He is going to bring me into stillness so that He can show me who He is. On the back of the journal is a saying that is my Heart's cry. It reads,"Take time to nourish your soul by weaving stillness @ solitude with God into the rhythm of your daily life."
I am so looking forward to being still with God @ soaking in all He has to offer.
This journey on which I am about to embark on is due to the many amazing friends(PRAYER WARRIORS) who have continually lifted me up in prayer. Without them I would not be where I am today!
